Hello Friends: Spring has sprung, the grass is ris’, I wonder where the birdies is! It’s that time of year again folks when people are getting outside to do gardening. While we wait to hear when we can gather again for worship and resume our various ministries, if you are interested in doing some weeding around the hall, please contact myself, my wife, or the office, and let us know. *We welcome Major Brian and Deborah Coles who now have joined us to serve God at Southmount Corps. this big family. They will lead the administrative, spiritual and social ministries of this Corps. *We have Pastor Sharon serving for God’s Kingdom at Southmount with us New Life Congregation for more than five years now. However, she has a new assignment and will leave Southmount on 15th of August. We surly had a wonderful time working together with her in the last five years and will miss her. We will have a farewell picnic on Wednesday, August 5th starting at 6 pm, weather permitting. Come when you are able! We’ll likely be there for a couple of hours. We’ll gather at Central Park (entrance of Imperial Street). We will need to maintain social distancing, and the Park will give us the room to do so. Everyone should wear a mask. For any that don’t have one we’ll bring a supply from the church. Please bring a folding chair and your own beverage and eats. We are not able to share any food! – 2020-07-30

Therefore, except for helping those needed people, we salvation army staff and officers are continue to serve in vary sites, we church presently is using internet or phone to conduct our Ministry. *Bible study materials are usually uploaded on Tuesday, and we consider using videos conference for Bible study. As to “Pastoral Reflection” is generally uploaded on Thursday, and “Sunday worship” on Sunday morning. As for the on-site Sunday worship, the English Department plan to start in June. *Because of the epidemic situation has been eased and the number of infection has decreased, some business and companies will be opened on the upcoming long weekend. As to our church, the English congregation will start on-site worship on this coming Sunday (May 17th). However, the Mandarin congregation will start later, some time in early June.
